I laughed a lot.
I liked the characters, all but Stanley although he served his purpose. And as morbid as the ending was, I wasn't upset with the happenings.
I am pretty sure Mr. Inman and myself have the same kind of crazy residing in our brains because I haven't laughed this much in a long time.
Mr. Inman apparently is from Indiana, which is where I reside. Also, I spent my summers on a farm in rural Indiana. Reading this book was like looking at my memories through someone else's eyes. Everything described brought memories, smells and textures.
And yes there is poop EVERYWHERE in a farm. It's a fact of life.
4 stars for the story an extra star for bringing rural Indiana to me with having to travel. :)
