Sometimes I don't believe 'there is nothing new under the sun', and then I read stories like this and realize this isn't new and isn't that good. There is a flash back to a rape. Surprising that as 'alpha' as these men get, and since they are all cops and a retired PI they didn't try and get the perpetrator. I mean come on really what happened was horrible and from the info we are given it seemed almost personal and yet nada.
Anywho I read it and the next installment Bayou Loup, which didn't get a any higher rating than Bayou End. So I'm kinda done with series.
