It was going so well....

I knew the MC's were a former lovers so I was aware there would be issues. However, it wasn't so much the issues that DNF this for me as the lack of them. Scott and Adam were together for 6 months. Adam got arrested and sent to prison. 6 YEARS LATER and that's where I get lost. 6 years.. Not that that isn't possible but what stopped me dead was that all Scott could go on about was the 6 months of fantastic sex and knowing deep down Adam was lying to him. (I don't think there was a whole lot else they had really, even in the scenes of the past. It was either the police coming or one of them coming...)
